The server responded: 550 Access denied - Invalid HELO name

I have problems with my email (SMTP). Can't send an email.

"Send test e-mail message: Cannot send the message. Verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The server responded: 550 Access denied - Invalid HELO name (See RFC2821 4.1.1.1)"

I can send an email using webmail, but I can't using mail clients (outlook express, microsoft outlook).

I've seen this happen a few times - try resetting the password for the account, ensure you have "My Outgoing Server Requires Authentication" checked in the Outgoing Server tab under Advanced Settings, lastly make sure the login name for Outgoing server is set to "Use same as incoming server". If that does not work send an email to support@inmotionhosting.com or give us a call to review further.

I solved that problem. It was all about "My Outgoing Server Requires Authentication".
